Dear journal (and whomever happens to be reading this),

First of all Business math is royally kicking my ass in all directions. Just when i think i have gotten a hold of this complex system the class gets introduced to a new system that really has nothing to do with the old one and confuses me even more, but it seems to be that this math will be used in real life. If that is the case then i am in trouble. Other than the one course i have been able to keep from melting down with all my other courses on top of studying for my P.A.L and also attending Karate twice a week. Mostly i have my wonderful boyfriend to thank for keeping me calm.

After class on Friday i headed down to spend the weekend with my family in a town 2 hours away from mine( took me 3 hours because of the traffic lights). My cousin and I went to the spa and some shopping with our mothers for our bday celebration because we are so close together for birthdays. The day was ended with a nice family dinner with relatively little drama to speak of which was very nice for a change. I'll be heading back home tomorrow after a trip to my grandfathers garden to stalk up on food for as long as possible. Winter is coming and veggies get pricey.    

p.s i would have put a picture up of my mothers beautiful vegan nut cake (called a 'cheese' cake) with chocolate drizzle and coconut whip cream, but i ate it too fast.

Hello Y'all,
Many life changing moments have happened since last time I had updated my Deviantart. I had gotten a job as a cleaning lady, Then I got a job at a tree farm by mistake, for the night before i had gone on a rampage through the internet applying to ever job posting i could that needed little skill (i am in college) and wanted out of my cleaning job. I enjoyed working on the tree farm doing jobs such as tying the leaders on trees and also potting them. i meet lots of great hardworking people and did lots of yoga well in the blistering sun( maybe well at work, shhh ) 

Karate had be come vary demanding well we were helping one of our sempais get ready for their second black belt testing!! that meant fighting three or more times a week! crazy. Then for the first of Aug. it was a four day karate summer camp in the blistering sun where i took naps in the shady grass whenever possible. Oh and did i forgot to mention the tattoos! during the summer i got a native sun tattoo and also a unbrion pokeman tattoo with one of my best-friends(i would love to link her in my journal but i never learned how, anyways its amydute or classycat101 go check out her DA shes an amazing cosplayer!!)  

the summer is almost here! the snow is disappearing but not quietly. I have not been cooking much but lots of karate and skiing.

lately I have been in a mad rush to try new recipes and baking ideas before college starts up again. I try to be creative and use what little i have in my kitchen to make colorful healthy meals. If anyone has any great recipes for meals or baking(sugar and gluten free) i would love to try them.
